Dear Bukasa Friends and Supporters-
We invite you to become a member of our summer team, visiting Bukasa in June of 2020. If you have a heart for God’s people, and a passion to serve in Africa, this may well be the perfect trip for you. In our 10-year history working with Pastor George, we have built relationships with students, parents, staff, and church members. We have helped expand school facilities allowing for an increase in attendance and in staffing. Return visits give us a chance to not only share the gospel but also renew relationships, monitor progress, and report to the home front successes and shared experiences. Prayerfully consider joining us for a worthwhile and life-changing journey. At Pastor George’s request our goals this year are:
~Facilitate a Pastor’s conference and a Women’s conference
~Interview sponsored students
~Paint classrooms
~Tour new Teacher Quarters
~Provide Bibles, water purification systems, reading glasses
Trip dates are tentatively, June 12-24. The application and $250 deposit are due by Friday, Feb. 14. Cost is $3000 which includes airfare, lodging, meals, transportation visa fees, travel/medical insurance. We will have several team meetings in the months prior to our June departure for team building and preparation for service.

Teacher Quarters Update!
Thanks to you, our loyal supporters, the end-of-year $29,000 Teacher Quarters Matching Grant campaign raised $32,200! Ground-breaking has already taken place with an optimistic completion date of mid-February. This structure will house 8-12 teachers and will help each to save rent and transportation costs, thus stretching their monthly incomes. Their commute will soon be a short 5-minute walk to their classrooms. Thank you for your contributions to this worthy project!
Student Sponsorship Spotlight
Shivan Nakintu is a 6-year-old girl attending Ever Increasing Children’s Center. She is in Middle Class (kindergarten). She was brought in from the streets of Bukasa and enrolled in school. She shows exceptional talent and ability. If you would like to sponsor her education at EICC with a $40 monthly pledge, contact me at info@bukasa.org to start the process. Thanks in advance.
