Dear Supporters-
We had fantastic response at our recent Garage Sale! A big THANKS to all who donated goods and to our many volunteers who helped set-up, sell, and clean-up! After a full morning of selling, and offering items through online sales sites, “Let Go” and “Offer-up”, our total earnings were $1,550! Many thanks to EVERYONE for your willing hands and support of Pastor George and Ever Increasing Children’s Center.
We originally intended to apply our Garage Sale earnings toward our summer trip to Bukasa. However, since our trip has been cancelled, we are now applying $800 of our earnings toward an immediate need for a set of new tires for the school van. The remainder will be applied to a future trip or other emergencies that surface in the weeks ahead.
Student Sponsorships!
If you are interested in sponsoring a student we would love you to join our Student Sponsorship Team. Fifty-four of our 300 students now have supporting families in the Conejo Valley. We are working to boost that number from 54 to 75. The $40 per month sponsorship pledge includes basic instruction, Biblical training, and daily meals. In addition this amount provides school supplies, teacher salaries, utilities, and school maintenance.
