Dear Bukasa Supporters-
Our iheartBukasa team is so grateful for your continued support of Ever Increasing Children’s Center in and through these difficult Covid-19 times. The situation in Bukasa is critical for those who have been without work for these many weeks. Pastor George reports hospitalizations and deaths due to lack of food. Although there have been NO virus related deaths, and fewer than 130 reported cases in country, the Ugandan government has now extended the lock-down through May 21.
Pastor George wanted me to pass along his heart-felt gratitude and thanks for your gifts of love during this crisis. Your generosity has enabled him to provide food relief for church members, student families, and villagers with no income. His church is utilized as a distribution center where he has supplied dozens of families (more than 2000 individuals) with a 10-day supply of maize flour, beans, rice, and personal hygiene items. He was able to do this four times during April and plans another food distribution next week.
Thank you again for your faithful giving to serve the needy and suffering in Bukasa. We pray for you and your families for health and peace.
