Dear Friends of Bukasa-
Your generous contributions to Ever Increasing Children’s Center during the Covid lock-down have not only supplied great relief during a serious situation in Bukasa, but they have also literally saved lives.
MEETING NEEDS-
It is hard for most of us in America to relate to the stress and anxiety of being unable to feed our children. A painful thought catches me as I write this- I never worry about my daily food supply. Families in Bukasa face this common concern even on good days. Yet, since March, the Covid lock-down and loss of jobs have made acquiring food critically more difficult!
But, happily and gratefully, through your generosity, desperate families are helped and loved as Pastor George diligently distributes food and basic hygiene supplies to those in need in the name of Christ.
SAVING A LIFE- a personal story
Pastor Godfrey, a good friend, fellow pastor with Pastor George at Ever Increasing Miracle Church, and Phys. Ed. Teacher for the children of EICC, required emergency surgery recently. Admittance to the hospital is not permitted until means of payment is produced. Of course with the lockdown, all work is stopped and Pastor Godfrey was without means of payment. Lack of treatment quickly caused his condition to become life-threatening.
But, because of your generous and on-going support, we were able to forward funds to Pastor George for Pastor Godfrey’s surgery. Praise God, he is now quietly recovering at home as his pain and discomfort slowly dissipate. May their heart-felt words of thanks bring home the importance of the blessings you are providing through your giving. You are the hands and feet of Christ to these dear ones in Bukasa. They are eternally grateful that you are standing with them.
