Dear Bukasa Supporters –
Our seven week Latrine Campaign has ended with success- we have raised $20,800! The Lord has provided for Pastor George’s current needs through your ongoing love, support, and generous contributions. Thank you for your faithful giving!
With these funds Pastor George will be able to pay the balance on the property. Once he has full title, he can begin demolition of existing buildings, order supplies and materials, and hire laborers to build the latrines in accordance with governmental requirements. This positive step means school will remain open through the end of the semester. Hopefully the project can be completed before the Christmas holidays.
On A Sad Note:
Simon, Pastor George’s older brother, passed away during the first week of September. Please be in prayer for PG’s family during this time of loss and grieving.
Sponsorship Spotlight:
For $40 monthly, you can sponsor Paul Nahayima’s educational journey through Ever Increasing Children’s Center. Paul is 11 years old and in P4. His parents have been unable to care for him and his two siblings.
The children now live with their grandmother who is elderly and quite poor. She sells maize on the streets of Bukasa. Her income does not provide the family with basic necessities.
